If you’ve recently had a baby, you’re pregnant, or you know someone who’s recently had a baby; this is a great episode for you. You may have noticed that in our society there is a subtle pressure on women to quickly get back to their pre-pregnancy shape (both physical and emotional).

As you’ll hear from our guest, that’s just not going to happen. But there are ways to take the new you to a healthy and physically active state.

Our host Jane Lanza discusses with Beth the path to becoming healthy and active for new moms. Included are suggestions of various postures, what to do and when. Although this episode is not a complete course, it is a good place to begin.

Beth demonstrates some restorative poses that are helpful for the new mom during the postnatal period.
